Excellent food breath taking location

A magical place due to it's location and owners. Just a 20 min drive from Rishikesh to absolute peace and beauty. The apartment is in a great location with views across the mountains, through trees, birds and monkeys! 2 minutes walk from the property is a sunset spot with a small cafe which others travel to from miles around, looking down over the Rishkesh and the Ganges. There are plenty of walks to do if you're feeling fit including Neer waterfalls; all the way downhill to Topavan; up hill with plenty of roadside cafes on the way. Access to Topovan is also easy via taxi or hire a scooter and get around like the locals. This property is not your average homestay, whether Paulson & Madhavi can keep up this incredible level of hosting, I don't know, they put so much energy, care and attention into reading guests needs and ensuring they were comfortable. They introduced guests into more of a social group with the other guests if wanted, but could equally enable a more private stay if that's what suited. This place is their home and you are encouraged to feel at home and part of the family. This is particularly evident with how food is available at the property. Though I know they plan to develop this offering further to create a cafe, at the time we stayed we were provided with breakfast, teas and coffees, and dinner if we wanted it, plus the choice of bottle or fresh mountain water. A delicious group vegetarian meal was prepared, taking into account the differing needs of the guests and we had the option of being served individually at the table outside our room or joining a wider group on the main balcony. Paulson will very generously show you around the area and chat away with much laughter on the way. He will also arrange scooters, airport transfers, white water rafting, friendship! I highly recommend and we would definitely return. I would go on but I've run out of space!

The property was in the perfect location along the banks of the Holy river Ganges. The lush gardens were like an oasis which created the atmosphere of relaxation amongst the beauty of nature. The room was large,cleaned daily and very comfortable. the toiletries provided were of a very high standard (forest essential products)The staff were outstanding tending to your every needs. We were totally spoiled by the entire staff for our wedding anniversary by: a bunch of red roses,freshly baked anniversary cake, floral sign across our bed then a bottle of champagne for dinner together with a private table on a private deck with music and another chocolate freshly baked anniversary cake. To top this off everywhere we went on that day, in the resort, the staff would wish us a Happy Anniversary. WOW WOW WOW. I loved the morning yoga sessions by the river and the spa treatments added to the state of rest and relaxation. Spa staff were very friendly and professional. Happy Hour at the bar went for two hours. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

I had the most incredible experience staying at Vedic Dham in Rishikesh! From the moment I arrived, the peaceful and spiritual atmosphere enveloped me. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making sure we felt at home. The accommodation was comfortable, with a serene ambiance perfect for relaxation after a day of yoga and exploring the area. The yoga classes were top-notch, with expert instructors who really helped me improve my practice. The wellness offerings, including Ayurvedic treatments and the beautiful Ganga view, made my stay even more rejuvenating. I also enjoyed the delicious vegetarian meals at their Vedic Bhojanalay restaurant – so healthy and flavorful! The peaceful surroundings and guided walking tours gave me the opportunity to connect with nature and learn about the local culture. It’s an ideal place for anyone looking for a spiritual retreat or to just unwind and recharge. Highly recommend Vedic Dham to anyone visiting Rishikesh!

The double room is great. it’s clean, spacy and quite comfy. the staff was amazing. We arrived at 5am and couldn’t find our original guesthouse. the staff took great care of us !

Everything was perfect and beautiful. The Spa is stunning! The restaurant lovely and the Staff! The Garden is incredible! The view is magnificent! The pool with natural Ganga water is amazing. The Yoga Shala and the yoga teacher are wonderful. Just loved it!
