Cozy and clean room with bathroom, a very family atmosphere and a very nice and friendly owner. In the evening there is a homemade soup for everyone, in the morning a typical Icelandic breakfast with home-baked bread, homemade waffles and many other things. Our room upstairs had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and nice bathroom with shower. The hosts were exceptionally gracious, told us interesting things about their family and the area, and fed us very, very well. Love the family style everyone around the table breakfast and dinner made by Sammi - who would think sweet potato soup is so good? Nice location, very close to Hraunfossar plus good hiking either up mountain or inside ravine with waterfall plus the property itself is unique.
