Everything was perfect. The people there are welcoming and friendly. Loads of space to park. Dinner was really nice. Easily the best view we had from any accommodation during our time in Iceland (which is really saying something because it's a beautiful country). The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with all the facilities we could possibly have wanted. We used the hot tub and sauna shortly after we arrived which was just perfect after our long journey.

The location was stunning, the view from our house was breathtaking, and the property and facilities were perfect. The hot tub was super warm, enjoyable, and added to the whole experience. Being able to sit under the stars and take it all in, simply amazing! The kitchen was HUGE and perfect to cook in. It was a perfect place to spend Christmas. We loved our stay here and will definitely come back in the future!

The hotel is very nicely located. The rooms face either the hill or the ocean. There is free parking available. The room was spacious, clean and warm. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There is sauna available. Supermarket and restaurants are a few min drive away from the hotel. Good value for the money!

Location is very remote, perfect if you wish to have some quiet around you. The host was very helpful and available for us, the place was clean and the kitchen well equiped. Items such as oil and spices were available. We saw our first northern lights there, unforgetable experience !

The guesthouse was spectacular. We stayed in the main house, and it was like staying at your grandmother's house - very clean and super-cosy. We felt at home immediately. The Christmas decorations and lights were so beautiful. I have never felt so rested after a stay. We ate locally, and there were some nice places to choose from. If you don't want to eat out, there is a fully equipped kitchen that you can use. The cafe and shop downstairs was just as cosy and welcoming. Blomsetrið has some more choices of accommodation beside the cafe, and they were really beautiful. I will definitely be back!
