Everything was good. Big plus the food hall with very tasty dishes. Also breakfast was nice!

It’s a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and the south coast. There is only 7 km to Hveragerdi and Selfoss, cities with a wide range of shops and restaurants.

We stay 2 days. It was great... hot jacuzzi +40°C pool I would say it was over 30°C.! They also have table tennis... billiards. Very good breakfast with many different things. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful.

A unique stay in a ranch style location, from arrival the staff were all so helpful. It felt very homely with the dogs happily wandering about. There is a hot tub to relax in after a long days sightseeing and after reading the reviews we booked the buffet style dinner. It didn't dissapoint, the food was amazing. We would have loved to stay longer

We stayed at the Frost and Fire hotel from the 28th December - 1st January. From the time we arrived until the time we left, the staff couldn't do enough for us. They were very friendly and approachable. Marianne even made us a packed lunch as we had to leave before breakfast for the airport. We really appreciated it. The views are breathtaking. We were very lucky that it snowed during the time we were there. The natural hot springs baths were an added special extra! We took a walk from the hotel up the mountain (the hotel will give you a route). We really recommend you do this! It took around 2 hours! We booked to go on a northern lights tour. You should definitely do this, but know it isn't guaranteed to see them. However, we saw the lights from the hotel on two evenings, so there is definitely a chance you can for that! The room was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We could see the sunrise every morning! Wow! The food needs to be mentioned. It was delicious and worth every penny. We had breakfast and an evening meal twice there. The Icelandic buffet on New Year’s Eve was amazing! Also the fireworks were out of this world! 🎆 We walked up the mountain path to see them and would definitely recommend you do that!
