The rooms are fairly new, and spacious! Very comfy wool blakets and chairs and good wifi, it was actually nice to spend our evenings in the room after a long day of driving and hiking around. The dinner and breakfasts were ok, but not outstanding to write about.

The host is very friendly, due to we arrive late, she is very kind to wait for us let us check in! The shower is hot enough, and the bathroom is big enough~

- right opposite to the supermarket. short walk to local restaurants and shops. - shared kitchen with everything you need for cooking, even for groups - complimentary tea and coffee; and light breakfast (cereals, muesli, milk and yoghurt) - private bathrooms in each room - sunny rooms - you do need to bring your own shampoo and body wash, which is fine - laundry is available if you are staying for more than 2 nights (Mar 2023) - relatively clean - great area to stay for 2 nights if possible. check in for proper rest after the long drive/site seeing from Vik; day trip/hiking/northern light seeking around Hofn; check out after a good night sleep before heading back to Vik or Reykjavík

Largest bathroom out of 7 accommodations we booked in Iceland! We were so impressed by the home decor and how Cosy it was. A nice touch of icelandic tradition everywhere you look. Breakfast was basic but just enough. Staff was very accommodating. Location was perfect for us to drive to jokulsarlon during the night to go watch the aurora. I really recommend this place. Parking just outside (for free) even the towels were embroider with their emblem (I’m a sucker for the little details) the common area is so beautiful too!

Conveniently located off the ring road, before turning heading on to Hofn. Nice big room. It was located in another building on the site, separate from the reception building. It had a big lounge area which made for a nice place to relax outside fo our room but still in the warmth.

Aurora Cabins has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Höfn.

Hosts were responsive (came by with paper towels when we requested for more), and the space was just right for three adults travelling together. Location was great, 5mins away from the main town of Hofn, and dark enough for those in search of the Northern Lights.

Located in Höfn, Höfn Guesthouse has rooms with free high-speed WiFi and a flat-screen TV. There is a common dining area where guests can mingle. Rooms have access to shared bathroom facilities.

Rooms were a bit smaller, but still nice and clean. When we got to the guesthouse, shared bathroom and kitchen were perfectly clean. The cleaniness of shared bathrooms depends on other guests who stay that night.
