It was in a very nice location, with a waterfall outside our window, very clean, easy town access and the best thing was the unlimited coffee from machine! The laundry was also included in the price.

A very affordable, well located guesthouse. Although the rooms are simply furnished, all main needed are provided. Hot water is great, heating is good and beds are comfortable. There is a shared kitchen which is ideal for do it yourself breakfast. Also, they have an EV charging unit right out near the front door and you can get a good overnight charge for your car.

40 km from Hengifoss in Egilsstadir, Finnstaðir offers accommodation with access to a hot tub and open-air bath.

Everything was clean, comfortable and enough space (even if one sleeping room was quite small, there was enough space to leave our luggage in the huge living room). The terrace with the hotpot was so great after a long day and on top polar lights in the night. The kittchen is really big and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. It has one shower and two separate toiletes, which was pleasant for a group of 6 people.
