We loved everything about the property! It was our first night in Iceland and it was a magical experience. The tents are warm, cozy and inviting with lots of thoughtful touches. The common facilities are extremely well organized with absolutely everything you need. The location is peaceful and beautiful. The staff are all friendly and kind. We only wished we stayed longer :)

We had a wonderful stay at Gaulverjaskoli. Magnea and Greg are very warm hosts and have created a charming place to stay. The rooms are very cozy and clean and have everything you need. The shared kitchen and the charming winter garden were also great. It was a wonderful place to linger and chat with the other guests. The kitchen itself is well equipped for cooking. Magnea and Greg had very good recommendations for activities in the area and selfoss was a great base for horse riding, driving to the golden circle and hiking to hot springs. We can highly recommend this accommodation.

The location is just amazing!!!😍 The host is super nice and gave us many additional information about their horses, the horse breeding and the training of islandic horses. They are even some world champions from their breeding farm! We had a stunning view - you can see the horses directly through windows of the apartment The room is cosy, comfortable and clean.
