We only stayed for one night and it was exactly what we needed for a quick stop on the route. The view from the room was very nice both in the morning and in the evening. For dinner we had asparagus soup, grilled chicken and dessert. It was filling, not heavy, and super tasty. In the morning the breakfast was alright. Not the most diverse but compared to other hotels in Iceland there were quite a lot of options. The tea and coffee station in the restaurant was permanently there, and even had cups for to go. The staff was friendly and eager to make pur stay as good as possible. They offered to knock on our door if there’d be Northern Lights, and they did.

Litli Geysir Hotel is on Route 35, located only 200 metres from the world famous Geysir hot spring in Iceland’s Haukadalur Valley.

The place is just amazing. A beautiful house in a surrounded by trees. Fully equipped kitchen. Families were cooking dinner as if they were in their home. Buffet breakfast was simple but delicious! We wish we could stay for more than just one night!

This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs.

The location is amazing, mountains all around. The windowview was incredible! Lots of amazing sightseeing nearby, including the brúarfoss waterfall that is only a 5 to 10 minute drive. The food and ice-cream from their own cows was also so so good! The first day I had the best sirloin steak I ever had! Not to mention the room which was so beautiful and cosy with all the wood :)

The property is well maintained and the owner is super helpful. He even called us when the Northern Lights were showing just outside. Everything is super organized even though he was fully booked. Amazing place just to chill or get ready for the next day.

A beautiful, luxury property in a perfect location, both private and peaceful but not remote. Equipped with everything we needed, including coffee for the machine, shampoo and shower gel and a good hairdryer. The beds were very comfortable, and all furnishings were high end but homely. Netflix was appreciated by some of our group. Stunning views from the hot tub, across the braided river to the mountains beyond made this a truly special place.
