Beautiful interiors, great location to the centre of La Morra (10 mins) and a stunning sunset spot and great staff, shout out to Anser who rescued my mum and I more than once! This is a small, boutique style hotel, no big team, just the manager and cleaning team, which means you get personalised service (read, being reduced from a walk!). As it is still so new, everywhere is pristine!

ASILO in BAROLO features a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Barolo. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

The house is charming, state of the art, centrally located, easy to reach by car and offers all the comforts one can wish for. Francesca welcomed us so warmly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and all things to explore in the area. We couldn't have asked for anything more and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Asilo. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the village of Barolo. Bonus: there is even gated parking and a charger for EVs!

Location, easy parking in front of the house, Laura was such a warm hostess. The house completely matched its name, the experience was sweet from beginning to end. Loved the attention to details and all the cute little features. A nice little extra was the walking path down into the valley beginning from the next block and Laura's restaurant recommendations both in Narzole and the nearby towns. Narzole was also a really easy access point to all the nearby historic wine villages.

I have stayed in Piemonte on multiple occasions and this was by far the most authentic and lovely experience I ever had. On top of that, my room was incredibly comfortable, fragrant, and decorated beautifully, with quality furnishings. Even better, Beatrice and her family are so genuine and lovely. I was alone on this trip as my husband had to go to London for work. They invited me into their home for dinner and we had the best conversations about food, wine, Italy, and Piedmont. A room full of passionate people with very positive attitude about life made for the most pleasant evening. I travel frequently and very rarely write reviews, but I felt so compelled to share how wonderful this place is, and how much I would recommend it to anyone that wanted a genuine Piedmont experience with the most lovey people. I am writing this as I enjoy their son's incredible hazelnut spread that puts Nutella to shame. Grazie mille Beatrice and your beautiful family.
