It is so quiet and peaceful and beautifully landscaped. We took the quadruple room which has its own terrace. It was lovely to just sit out there, sip a drink, and soak in the quietness after the noise and bustle of Syracuse. The bathroom is very modern and stylish. Our host recommended a restaurant in Caltanissetta called Allesandro Papa for our first night and the food and wines there are excellent. The road to Villa Russo from the town is a minor road, bumpy and potholed but well worth the drive!

Rita was truly a fantastic host and the Relais Palmento is gorgeous. I only stayed for two nights but I had such a relaxing time and really enjoyed myself. The rooms are beautiful and the whole place is recently renovated and pristine but with lots of character. Breakfast was so tasty with lots of local treats. I didn't have a car but it wasn't a problem as the village centre is a short walk and Rita was very helpful with organising transport. I would love to return soon.

We traveled around Sicily with my wife by car. To make it convenient to get to all cities, we decided to rent a hotel in the center. Small, very comfortable hotel. Sterile clean. cleaned every day. The hosts, Gino, Manuela and Giuliana are very kind and helpful people who are always ready to help. From indifference and sincerity is very felt. We were there for a week and absolutely loved it. The breakfast was delicious and served by warm and gracious people who went out of their way to make us feel Welcome and at home. The proprietors could not be more friendly and caring. I highly recommend this facility for its cleanliness and hospitality. The cost per day could not be more reasonable. My wife and I were given recommendations where to eat dinner and we walked to the restaurant “ Cafe Lupo” the food was excellent and reasonably priced , overall this was a wonderful experience. The Campo’s are terrific people.
