We stayed here while visiting the Japanese Alps. Atsu was really friendly and helped us out a lot. We had to check in a bit later due to delays and also had a last minute diner during our stay. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious. Really good curry, and was able to accommodate my wife with a gluten free meal for her (celiac). And we also got some really good advice for food for our next stay :). Thanks Atsu!

Great experience in Japanese house. Kids loved sleeping on futon. Well-equipped kitchen and pellet stove to watch flame for extra charge. There is a bus-stop at Jonenbo, 10-min walk, for those who want to hike Mt.Tsubakuro. Check online schedule as the bus is seasonal. Very quiet area. All rooms have either heater or aircon.

A wonderful retreat. The place is beautiful, in the middle of a forest, very relaxing, chef dinners and breakfast, staff was amazing and the place is like a dream.

dinner was exquisite, breakfast was plentiful (including a real wasabi root to grate!), i had a room with a view of a forest, with one maple already turned red, the outside bath was nice, i used the hotel as a base to hike to Yonnen goya the next morning

This is the place you won’t find anywhere else. There is private open-air onsen bathtub and it is just perfect. It was snowing when we stayed, which added to the ambiance. Food was also great. They use lots of local ingredients and arranged them in such a beautiful way. It was a wonderful experience, so much better than we expected. Definitely highly recommended.

Quiet , excellent food and very helpful staff

We loved this hotel. It is spacious and has parking for guests in the basement (with a charge). All the hotel staff we interacted with were very friendly. The breakfast was fabulous: plentiful, varied, and well-presented. The breakfast area is very nice. A nice walking distance from the main sites. An additional bonus is that the hotel offers free entry to an onsen at another hotel in the chain, and that onsen is beautiful!

Really clean and spacious 2-storey house. They give us a lot of things like welcoming biscuits, noodles, water, tea, energy drinks, tea and coffee. They even have a projector and hair straightener haha. A really nice place with cheap prices. 100/10
