It was great, everything was perfect. They had all amenities you would need for a perfect stay in the mountains. Also I must make a special mention to the staff working there, everyone was really sweet and super helpful, couldn't be more happy to have stayed here.

The location is about a 20 min walk to the central area and about a 30 min walk to the Hida Folk Village so the location isn’t too bad if you’re planning to see both. The staff is beyond excellent, extremely polite, friendly and welcoming. We had the Japanese breakfast which was really delicious. I loved how big our room was, it was all well worth the stay.

Breakfast was wonderful (we had Japanese). Kaiseki dinner was equally good. We upgraded the dinner on the second night, and to be honest, the upgrade was not worth the cost.

This property was extremely spacious and comfortable. The host was friendly and very accommodating. We could walk to the Old Town, the bus station, the train station, and endless restaurants. This was a great stay for several families to stay together.

Everything. Loved our stay here. Room was a good size for us and our luggage, everything was clean and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and loved that the private onsen and buffet breakfast were not expensive. 10/10!

Very good price and exceptional staff and service. The staff even spoke good English. Great area as well very close to the Takayama attractions. 100% would recommend to anyone staying in Takayama and it was easily the best accommodation I have had so far during my holiday.
