Staff were very attentive. I was really sick on the first day and the lady in the restaurant noticed that I could not eat much and came up to ask what happened. They cooked congee for me on the other day as breakfast that helped me a lot.I would highly recommend this hotel to others and definitely will come back again.

Loved my stay here and cannot recommend it enough! The building itself is an experience to stay in; very nostalgic and cozy. Bunk beds were comfy and clean. As others have mentioned, remember to bring your own groceries as the food in Magome town is quite limited. Make sure to check out the gymnasium!

My sister had a 6mo and I was 27 weeks pregnant and we traveled here to explore the Kiso Valley and the Nakasendo Trail. We are from Tasmania, Australia and Hotel Kisoji was absolutely amazing accommodation, comfort levels, onsen provision and incredible delicious food. I would highly recommend Hotel Kisoji to anyone.
