Located right across the train station, also super close to the port, where you can take the ferry to the island. Seemed to be newly renovated a month ago, facilities are in very good condition, the sharing space is decent as well (they provided free ice cream!). The onsen experience offered by the hotel is superb. Enjoyed the stay very much

The house was amazing! The photos do not do it justice! It is bigger than it seems in the images and very well-equipped. Comfortable beds, amazing shower and bath, well-stocked kitchen. The location was great and the host was very accommodating. He picked us up from the port and brought us back to the port when we were leaving. It was clean, super spacious and the projector TV was great. We loved it and wished we could've stayed longer.

Fantastic stay at Guest House PLENO. Very clean with all facilities. Two single beds and a sofa bed was perfect for the three of us visiting for one night, although we wish we had stayed for more. Communication was excellent from Masako Bandai and a lovely touch adding my name to the guest house entrance to welcome us. A short 4-5 min walk from Naoshima port on the east side of the island. I would highly recommend Guest House Pleno. Thank You.. A++++++

The host was AMAZING!! He sat with us when we arrived and spent 30 minutes going through maps of the attractions and making recommendations etc. He booked a restaurant for us and was really helpful. I had some questions hater in the day and sent him couple of messages which he replied to straight away. FANTASTIC service

A beautiful and spacious house not far from the port to Naoshima. The host picked us up at the train station and took us back there at the end of our stay - exceptional service. The house was retro, perfectly presented and had two large bedrooms with both western and tatami beds. The hosts kindly set up a cot and put a child seat on an e-bike to accommodate the child in our group. Free bikes (3 e-bikes and regular pedal bikes) were available in the shed. Local udon and sushi restaurants were great. It’s a short cycle to the port to the art islands and we were able to take the bikes on the ferry to explore the islands. Recommend for a home-like stay.
