Exceptional setting surrounded by forest. Simple and high quality design with attention to detail everywhere across the house: materials, lights, blinds, equipment both indoor and outdoor. We really enjoyed our stay - the resort had two onsens, plus footbaths near the free self-serve snack and drink bar overlooking the bay. Our room included a private balcony with a bath. The staff didn't speak much English, but were very friendly and helpful. Best stay during our two week trip. The hotel is located close to the Tombolo land bridge. If we ever return to this part of Japan, we would come here again.

Everything! The house, the view, the services. Just an amazing and special place. Nobody around and so quiet. A lot of space too and fully equipped kitchen. One of the best accomodations we ever had.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. We also booked dinner at their restaurant and it was an exceptional meal. They were also able to cater to special dietary needs. The house was very clean and modern with so many thoughtful touches, making it feel cosy and practical. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. There is also free parking and shops and restaurants are within walking distances. A great location to discover Dogashima bay and go for scenic cliff walks nearby.

The main feature is obviously the perfect location: built onto the cliffs of Tsubasawa bay, providing a picturesque view from any point of the hotel, including the reception panorama window, the dining area, the onsen pools and the room windows. All built around the guests' peaceful and undisturbed leisure, the breakfast and dinner provide a wide variety of traditional Japanese seefood, incl. the bluefin tuna days, sashimi and sushi varieties. The rooms are spacey and comfortable (expecting a traditional Japanese tatami floor + futon bed interior), the tea ceremony set is a plus. The Tsubasawa beach is accessible right at the bottom of the hotel, providing an practically private beach.
