Our stay at this incredible Japanese house was nothing short of a dream. This beautifully renovated traditional home, built by the owner's ancestors probably 150 years ago and renovated thoughtfully and lovingly by the owner recently. It offers lovely gardens and breathtaking views of Mount Aso and is meticulously maintained to the highest standards. Each room exudes the charm and character of a traditional Japanese palace, while also providing all modern amenities.The onsen is an indulgent treat, and the professional kitchen, sound and home cinema systems, barbecue house, and karaoke house added to the exceptional experience. We opted for the barbecue on two of our three nights, and the food was world-class, prepared with love and care by the owner, his wife, and the property manager.We felt like we were in a dream and wished we could have stayed much longer. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay! Yoshio, Sumie, and Yuji you are the best!

A lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We had a fabulous stay. The meals were ALL exceptional! It's a beautiful setting and perfectly located for hiking around Mt Aso.

Very helpful host! Due to super heavy rain, we needed to change our plan of next spot. The host sent us several suggestions even we have already left! Dinner portion is more than enough. A really tasteful and satisfying dinner! And the house itself is perfect for family especially having kids. Lots of space for kids burning their energy! Perfect!

Very comfortable bed and tube , the yard is quite beautiful, even there is a orange tree in the back yard , if you would like to go shopping, a big supermarket is about 1KM far from it .
