Very lucky find: this lovely villa is located in nature, overlooking Lake Ashi, a 10 minute walk down to Moto Hakone promenade with restaurants, shops etc. The home itself is luxurious, with an awesome sauna & hot tub and a large living area with terrace, boasting views of Fuji. We reached it very easily & the host was super helpful to recommend transport, taxi etc. We had a very relaxing time, particularly starting the day with coffee & a view! Everything was spotless and designed to ensure a very comfortable stay. Nearby attractions include the floating Torii, a rope way & lake cruises.

The house is beautiful, very clean with great kitchen/dining area and lounge. We had a lovely relaxing stay here. The wifi is excellent and there are plenty of plug sockets. The bedrooms are a bit basic, but the beds and linen are comfy and clean. The bathroom is very clean and new, there are two toilets and there's a washing machine too. Access: it's a short walk from the bus-stop and up a short hill and some steep steps, so it's a bit tricky with big heavy suitcases. I would definitely stay here again if I came to Hakone.

This place is a real gem. Clean, comfortable, great view, great facilities, parking in front of the house. We had a great time using the hot plate to make Teppanyaki and having breakfast on the terrace. There was a coffee grinder and beans to make fresh drip coffee.
