Great place for a large family or group of friends. Wish we had stayed longer so we could take advantage of the sauna and the fire pit. Wonderful to see the sun rise over the sea in the morning. Very clean and all you need for a self catering stay. The futons were very comfy.

Stopped here for the night after a long and tiring day's bike riding in the mountains. Lovely little basic log cabin by a gurgling stream. Two bunk beds, a sink and an enclosed toilet outside on the verandah. As there are no restaurants or shops nearby, the kind and chatty receptionist, who speaks very good English, went to great lengths to get me a microwaveable curry and rice for my dinner and made me a bento style breakfast, so I could make an early start in the morning. Above and beyond!

I would give dinner and breakfast at least a 10 out of a 10, the arrangement and cooking , simply fantastic. We had a balcony overlooking a small beach, the river with a pond like section where you could watch huge (wild) fish slowly swimming around, hawks were resting on their wings above. Plenty of wonderful, pristine waterfalls to visit. Magnificent scenery! The couple running this hotel are the most sweet, pleasant and service minded people you could imagine (and English speaking). They really went at length to solve some travel related issues we needed to handle. Parking was just outside the entrance, very convenient. Do yourself a favor, try it!
