The hostel is right in front of a quiet beach, in a very calm neighborhood. You can hear the waves at night, the birds in the morning, pet the local cat or even sheep. The common space is big and comfortable. The host is really nice, and we were very grateful when she gave us a ride. (the bike location center or supermarkets are a 45 min walk, add 5 min for the ferry to go to Onomichi centre). The traditional japanese room is quite big, with view on the sea. If you have a car this is a perfect place to stay. 100% would come again!

My apartment was simply superb. Very big, comfortable and homely. Welcoming staff and relaxed vibe. Lots of parking. Location on the inlet is interesting with lots of shipping to watch.

A 5-minute walk from JR Fukuyama Train Station, Fukuyama Oriental Hotel offers simple accommodations with free wired internet access. Guests can refresh after a long day in the spacious public baths.

It was really easy to walk to the hotel from the train station. The communication was also very good with the hotel. They replied fast and professionally. They helped me send my suitcase to my next hotel via delivery service, which was really nice! It was also walkable to Fukuyama castle, only about 5 minutes walk.
