I’ll star saying the staff was amazing and kind. When I arrive they offered me coffee or something else. Then my room was amazing, everything was clean. With heating and the toilet was clean. About the location it depends about your plans. But was ok.

I like staying in residential properties to see how life is for typical locals. The apartment is very well kept and well organised. The host was communicating via WhatsApp to help with my needs, very prompt. The host helped to organise secure paid parking at a location 200m away. It’s a short walk to shops and some restaurants. It was very calm and quiet at night.

The hotel is run by a lovely family. They spoke English and it helped me a lot. The room was clean and comfortable. I had the New York room. The reflective ceiling was fascinating. Mansur took me on a historical tour of the city. I could visit places that are inaccessible by public transport. I'm really thankful to him. I also learnt a lot about the various cultures in Kazakhstan through them.
