We’ve been visiting Sri Lanka with our family for many years, but very few places have impressed us as much as Splendour Residence. Sure, there might be some minor imperfections here and there – but they’re completely outweighed by how smoothly everything runs and how exceptional the guest care is. The staff is absolutely fantastic – from the owner to every single member of the team. Everyone is kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Our little daughter received such lovely attention and care, and it made the whole stay even more special for us. The food was excellent, and the surroundings – both indoor and outdoor – were beautiful. There is a clear emphasis on space and comfort throughout the property, which we truly appreciated. The entire hotel feels well-thought-out, peaceful, and harmonious. I sometimes give a 10/10 rating on Booking, even when a place has a few flaws that are balanced by other strengths. But Splendour Residence deserves more than just a perfect score. If I could rate it higher, I absolutely would. We even changed our travel plans just to stay a little longer – that’s how much we loved it here. And if we ever return to Sri Lanka, there’s no doubt – we’ll be coming back here.

We were warmly welcomed and surprised by location, villa, atmosphere, staff, ocean. A very private, elegant & cosy hideaway, Indian Ocean quite in front our room, great breakfast was served, the staff took care of all our wishes, we also loved to visit the owners restaurant nearby, tasting all the fresh seafood. The owner speaks Italian & English. What a pity that our stay was so short. This accommodation is a good reason to come back and stay longer.

This was a fantastic getaway and wished the stay was longer. The place was beautifully decorated to give a luxurious feel, with traditional Sri Lankan pieces and art. One of the best hotel stays we had experienced, everything was perfect from the staff to the property and the food was exceptional! We were taken care of by every single staff member we came across. The attention to details was above our expectations. We were also lucky enough to be there during their menu makeover and had a wonderful experience with Group Chef Sumudu whom was passionate about his menu and keen to hear feedback! Big Kudus to all the staff for making the stay enjoyable!!! Praba, Robert, Menaka and Lasitha! we truly felt a personalized touch and at home! Definitely on my list to come back here
