There's a chemical free swimming pool that uses water from the mountains. Then there's a natural pool with water directly flowing down from the mountains. Ashley, the resort manager, has a heart of gold and he leads a team who will contort themselves to attend to your needs. The staff were just common village girls and boys, and they deliver friendly yet professional quality service, considering their humble beginnings. So tip them generously. Dilan, the massage therapist does a massage truly reflecting Sri Lanka's spirit -- relaxed, gentle and yet to the point. After the massage, you can use the wet and dry sauna. If you are keen to try Ayurvedic treatment, simply ask. It's a perfect getaway from city hustle bustle and paparazzi. A sanctuary for the soul. A place to heal your spirit.

The location is simply stunning. Views from the terrace, the pool and the room are incredible regardless of weather. Pool is in a garden setting where the tea bushes meet to edge of the garden. Food good and not unreasonable. Staff very attentive rooms simple and old world charm but all in keeping with the hotels age.

Our hostess Laura made us so very welcome, it was more like being invited to share someone’s home. An amazing authentic lunch was conjured up at very short notice in spite of us not having seen Laura’s message asking us if we needed any meals that day. This was followed later by an equally delicious and relaxing dinner. We enjoyed the pool with the beautiful view out to the mountains, and the spaciousness of our surroundings. But best of all was Laura’s hospitality and humour, she made our stay quite magical and we would love to have the opportunity to return.

Nice Apartment with an amazing view of sri lankans beautiful nature, perfect to calm down. A river is passing near by where you can take a swim. The owner and her family are super nice, heartwarming people, the food is delicious- we would definitely recommend this place!

I felt safe as a female solo traveller. The view is gorgeous up there! The room with the balcony is amazing. It’s really clean and the man working there makes sure you have a comfortable stay. You shouldn’t mind walking a steep path for around 10min to get to the house.
