Swiss Bay is perfectly located right at the start of Arugam Bay’s main street. From the balcony, you can spot the elephant viewpoint where an elephant usually visits in the mornings and evenings. The beach is just a quick 2–3 minute walk across the road, making the location absolutely ideal. We stayed in the corner room with an L-shaped balcony, and it was just amazing. The room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the facilities you’d expect from a top-notch stay. Even the bathroom stood out — we genuinely loved it. Everything matched the pictures and description perfectly, so you get exactly what’s promised. The caretaker and the owner were both incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel at home right away. They even allowed us a late checkout since our shuttle was leaving at 1 pm, which we really appreciated. On our last day, they treated us to a banana shake that was absolutely delicious — such a sweet gesture. If you’re considering booking this place, don’t hesitate — go for it! We’re already certain we’ll be staying here again.

Would you like to experience paradise? We did! Eco Aloevera Garden is a place where you may see see the beautiful empty beaches, wonderful sea landscape and such a unique atmospere! Great place to visit out of the tourist season - which we did, March was great choice. The owner and stuff soooo friendly, meeting all the needs. Local meals provided based on our preferences, so delicious! Great clean, cosy little houses in shady garden filled with beautiful palm trees. We just live it all :)

Lovely small hotel with air conditioned rooms with fridges. Bashir and team made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, in addition to helping with Tuktuks and various questions. Breakfast was excellent and went until 11. We were located at the end of the strip which was perfect for us as we were happy to walk in and wanted to be out of the party scene. Arugam was a fun location with plenty of buzz for our teenagers along with getting in some good surfing.

This hotel is brand new, so everything feels clean, fresh, and modern. The facilities are excellent — each room has a lovely outdoor chill-out area, and the garden adds a nice relaxing touch. We had an amazing time staying at these beautiful new bungalows in Arugam Bay. The place has a fresh, stylish design and was incredibly comfortable – perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. Everything felt clean, modern, and thoughtfully put together. The host was absolutely fantastic – so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to organize a special trip for us where we saw wild crocodiles and elephants in their natural habitat. It was an unforgettable experience and truly a once-in-a-lifetime memory! If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay with great hospitality and a touch of adventure, this is it. We can’t recommend it enough!

    We loved the friendly welcome and amazing home cooked food in the evenings, the space was so lovely and relaxing! We also loved the outdoor shower with accompanying geckos and little baby frogs. Great recommendations given as well. Thanks Vishy!

    The property was amazing! It was very quiet and peaceful. The chalet was such a fun spot to stay a few nights, surrounded by a beautiful garden and art made by the owner. You can tell they have put a lot of love and thought into the details and it just feels a little bit magical staying there :) The food was delicious and the hosts were so kind and accomodating. It’s an easy walk to the beach.
