We had a fantastic stay at Ranna Beach House! The location is absolutely stunning—right on a quiet, unspoiled beach with incredible sunset views. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was a real highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared every time. I stayed with my friend in this fabulous property with direct access to the beach. It seemed like being in a private paradise. In fact, in addition to the super cozy room, with hot water, air conditioning and super clean, they had access to the outdoor area equipped with deck chairs and a hammock surrounded by greenery and peace. The owner, the boy and the lady who worked there were super nice and friendly, always available for our every need. Even their dog Rocco, stayed with us all night to keep us company while we enjoyed the sound of the waves. It was one of the best moments spent in Sri Lanka.

We enjoyed our stay at Kingfish villa in the month of March 2025. It was a very pleasant time. An optimal location to relax and experience the beautiful beach of Ranna at a distance of ca. 300 m. The owner Raveen is also an amazing person. He is very helpful and knows around Ranna, southern locations of SL and even other locations at wish. Also, there is the possibility to have him as a tour guide. He owns a restaurant as well where the food is exquisite. One can choose a variety of local foods and drinks too. Overall, remarkably good experience.

We stayed in Lankavatara 9 days and we had a wonderful and restoring experience. We choose the location because is very quite and immerse in the nature and after 10 days going around the island we needed a break before leaving. What make our stay unforgettable has been also the staff, all are very helpful and professional, from the staff at the reception, the staff at the restaurant, the staff who clean, and the staff at the spa. Secluded and quiet location, surrounded by nature. We could see peacocks and monkeys from our balcony! The accommodation itself was very nice and cozy, excellent value for money. The food was also really nice and the staff were really welcoming and always to our disposal. Totally recommend to stay there if you are in the area!

Resort is on great location, its so peacefull and nice. Rooms are very tidy, comfortable and super clean. Pool is great also, we spend hours there chillin' out. They have great restorant, food is amazing, we had dinner there 3 times and we loved all food there. Apsolutelly perfect. Personell is the highlight here, those people are amazing! Very profesional, on service all time, ready and capeable to help with any wish or desire. We felt like we are one big family. This is one of top 2 hotels where I been in my life traver experience. Thanks a lot, you are amazing!

We stayed for 4 nights in November 2022 and it was truly an amazing stay. Our room was facing the beautiful rough sea. We enjoyed the waves, they seem strong but it is actually safe to swim, it’s very shallow. There are delicious breakfast and dinners served at the cafe and you can order drinks and snacks throughout a day. Few things to note: - The place has just reopened after being closed for a couple of years. Some rooms are still getting their makeover. - The staff are all new and still learning their way around. The owner provides great guidance and is there if you have any questions that staff cannot answer. Please be patient with them. - This hotel is a home to three local dogs who are the friendliest creatures ever. They will often come to the guest for cuddles or just sleep in the shades under trees.

The host was extremly friendly and helpful. Apartment was amazingly clean and cozy, also the room is huge. The garden was maybe the best part, very nicely groomed and full of birds and peacooks whose singing is the best alarm clock ever. Breakfast and dinner were yummy and the host also makes great cocktails. By far the best place we have stayed in in sri lanka. Highly recommed! :)
