I felt right at home, the owner is such a genuinely caring and good-hearted person who will do everything you make you feel welcome and helps you in any way he can. True Albanian hospitality. The apartment is spacious, clean, the shower great and the smart tv is a bonus! there is simply nothing to dislike - oh and the hiking in the area is great. def do the three Peak loop.

An authentic Montenegrin stay in a setting surrounded by mountains. Completely natural setting with wild meadow, cows and chickens grazing and a flowing river nearby. The Katun is basic but was extremely comfortable and meet the needs of our day hikes out and back into Prokletije National Park. A verry large and beautiful furnished house with a beautiful view and very helpful hosts. Half of our group got sick and the host brought some fruit and water upon arrival for them. Everything was really clean and worked perfectly. The washing machine helped us out after 5 days of hiking. Furthermore, the grocery store was a walk of only 10 minutes.

We loved staying with Jelena and her family. They are the warmest, kindest people who made us feel at home. They went far beyond the regular expectations of a host. We were able to leave our belongings there while we went hiking. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with views onto their nice backyard with chickens running around. There are tables to sit in the backyard and relax. The windows have blackout shutters which helped us sleep well. There is a communal fridge and home-cooked food and drinks are available. It is also across the road from a restaurant with a nice view of the lake. We would certainly stay here again.

    Demo (who has lived in New York for 37 yrs) is very interesting to talk to. The spacious apartment is in a separate building in front of the family house. The location is about a kilometer from the town centre (which is nothing special) but has good mountain views. There is a very fancy TV with all European stations.
