A perfect hotel if you need somewhere close to the airport for an early morning flight. The room (15) was large, extremely modern even by European standards, great bathroom, fridge and exceptionally clean. In fact, the best room we had in Madagascar for cleanliness and comfort. We did not eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food.

Le Jardin de L'isle is a detached holiday home with a barbecue, set in Ifaty. Guests benefit from terrace. There is a seating area, a dining area and a kitchen equipped with oven.

Nice clean hotel run by an old Frenchman, who made a 5-bungallows hotel around his house. Well arranged, on the beach. Hot water, rooms of very OK size.

The rooms are nice and clean, and a walled-in garden makes it a safe and pleasant place to stay and relax. The breakfast was fantastic. You can ride with pousse-pousse to or from the city centre. It is also possible to walk (I did), or you could ask the estate to organise transport. I was at two other places in Toliara, but this was the best.
