Location is perfect, great view of the volcano, amazing garden. Lots of birds and howler monkeys. Miguel and his brother were very helpful and nice. Local breakfast prepared just for us by amazing señoras! If you are looking for quite spot with lots of nature this is the place to be.

Los Cocos provides fairly basic accommodations but what sets them apart is the quality of the staff. Marlon, his family and his staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating every step of the way. The food is typical Nicaraguan fare cooked beautifully with generous portions. We were always met with smiles. As we are practiced our Spanish, the Los Cocos team were patient and worked with us to ensure that expectations were well communicated. They spent time with us and got to know our children. The space is incredibly safe and the location is excellent, being directly across from playa Santa Cruz and the Saturday market. If you need a taxi, Marlon is more than willing to drive you wherever you need to go in a comfortable pick up truck. He can help you arrange horse tours, vehicle rental, kayak tour, hiking tour and whatever else you can imagine on the island. We have returned to Los Cocos twice, and we couldn't imagine staying at any other hotel on Isla de Ometepe!

This place was the most outstanding hotel in our 3-weeks tour in Central America! It was not just an accommodation, it was an experience! If we hadn't stayed there, we wouldn't feel even 50% of Ometepe's vibe. It was such a tranquil and relaxing place that bound us with nature. Such an amazing view is once in a lifetime! It's a family-run Hostel/Homestay with very friendly owners. Super cool and very authentic, located in the jungle where you have screaming monkeys in the morning and fireflies in the evening. Amazing view over Concepción volcano. You can eat here or at Comedor Cristina 300m north fairly cheap. Tap water is drinkable. It's pretty quiet and not as frequented as other parts of the island. Showers and toilets are in the rooms, just as fans and power plugs. It's near to San Ramón waterfall and Maderas hiking trail.

Family-run business, extraordinarily friendly and helpful, beautiful location off the grid, very quiet, great view, superb (and very fresh and made from scratch) food.. I had an amazing time, all the staff were so nice, the location is beautiful! Wish I had had more time to extend my stay!

Staff: Andre, the Nicaraguan owner, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. Being family-run added a warm, personal touch to our experience, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Food: Delicious local cuisine. Portions were generous, and prices were reasonable, offering great value for money. Surroundings: The serene ambiance coupled with the stunning sunsets made each of my evenings a memorable experience.
