A wonderful place! A beautiful house in a beautiful setting, with spacious and comfortable rooms designed with great attention to aesthetics and functionality. The bathroom is almost palatial. Delicious and abundant breakfasts served in a magnificent dining room. Definitely stop by if it's on your way. If it's not, change your travel plans! :) Ark van Thesinge is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Its location near Groningen makes it a great base for exploring this part of the Netherlands – within an hour's drive, you will find many interesting and beautiful places worth visiting. Close to Groningen and yet in the countryside. A nice place to stay. Ideal if you want to visit Groningen or simply bike around and visit the villages along the Eem. You can park your car inside the property. It is very calm and private. Check in and check out very convenient. Bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was superb.

Everything was perfect here for our overnight stay. The apartment was lovely, clean and so comfy. Great huge comfy sofa, great heating, very comfy bed. Attached is the gorgeous pub/restaurant which served a beautiful delicious meal. Overall great accommodation!
