Every meal was freshly prepared, full of authentic Nepali flavors, and served with such care that it felt like dining with family. It’s clear the hosts take pride in sharing their culture and hospitality with guests. What I loved most was the personal connection — the hosts truly make you feel special, taking the time to chat, share stories, and ensure you’re comfortable at all times. I enjoyed my stay at Kathmandu Aagantuk hotel. The location was great and the backyard was like an little oasis in the heart of busy Thamel. I booked a room with a private balcony where I spent my mornings and some afternoons reading, which was really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the Wifi worked excellent. If I go back to Kathmandu (which I probably will) I will definetly stay at Aagantuk.

Great selection of breakfast food, both local and western food available. Nice little outdoor breakfast area. Clean and spacious rooms. Amazing support from Jaya the manager and staff who went above and beyond to make our group of 11 enjoy our stay as comfortable as possible. They give you good recommandations for restaurants and all you need to know about Katmandu and Katmandou valley!
