I didn‘t know what it means living together in a community but now I know it. I experienced the jungle safari with the jeep and an amazing, english speaking guide, doing some bicycling with the cycles of community members enjoying the sunset at the agriculture, meeting students on the way to school, doing some fishing and collecting snails in the river, eating local food and dancing with the women group. I also enjoyed drinking the clean and refreshing water and taking a shower at the chwadi while talking to the community. The friendly and helpful staff is preparing delicious food by using regional and fresh products.

The Lodge treated me like a valued guest and were willing to do things to accommodate my needs. They were always smiling and cheerful. The Lodge was across from the National Park so it was easy to do a safari, a bike ride or a boat ride. Thanks Guide Sagar for my 4 guided adventures where I was able to see a rhino with a baby, some gaur, a monitor lizard, lots of birds, elephants and deer. I will be back to find the tiger that we heard in the grass.

Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! we liked everything about the property. it was a tranquil oasis and a much needed break from city life. the staff are absolutely incredible, so attentive and they showed us such kindness and made us feel very at home. we went on a jeep safari with some of the staff and had a fantastic time, even though we didn’t see a tiger, we still saw lots of incredible jungle wildlife and it was a dream to be that immersed in nature. food is exceptional, all very fresh and the chefs and serving staff are all really lovely.
