Jill and her team are wonderful hosts.Very welcoming and care so well for the needs of their guests If you value a spacious, comfy and nicely decorated room in a historical building with quite a story and also like recommendations about what to see in the area- this is the perfect place. We would definetetly come back as we felt well from the first contact.It is also the perfect location for the last stay out of the Catlins moving North or the first going South Thank you so much, Jill, hope to come by again

It was comfortable nd the bedding was not too hot. That is, it was adjustable. Also there was ample light to read by, not like other placews

This is a beautiful little place to stay at a great location. Just a short walk to the beach to see the sea lions. The rooms are spotless as is the fully equipped kitchen. Bathrooms are shared but also spotlessly clean. Ester and Jack are lovely. She makes a banging coffee and he’ll tell you where to go to see wildlife. A fantastic place to stay. Ten out of ten.

Guests staying at Catlins Newhaven Holiday Park are a 5-minute walk from Surat Bay, a long sand beach in Newhaven, where you may be lucky enough to see a Hooker Sea Lion.
