Ellejaye and Shawn were hands down the most welcoming hosts we have met on our trip! The location was so peaceful, the accommodation was top notch, the pool and basketball court were great, and the breakfast was fabulous! The whole family agreed that this was one of the best places we stayed. Anyone visiting Countryview Haven is in for a real treat. Thank you Ellejaye and Shawn!

This lodge is just amazing! The rooms are very comfortable, the owners are very kind, the facilities are of high quality (over 300 DVDs, an arcade video game from the 90's, books and games), and the breakfast is excellent! Very well located also if you want to take a cruise from Kaiteriteri to hike in Abel Tasman National Park.

Fantastic 2 bed apartment right on the beach. Great facilities provided in the kitchen and bathroom. Including beach towels, bath towels, toiletries and even little washing powder sachets for the washing machine. Parking spot available was really handy. They also have a tonne of amenities right outside including: a convenience store, fish/chip/burger place, pub, tour booking booths etc. It’s right on the doorstep of the beach, where you can relax and swim. It also had water taxis, tour boats etc to bring you up the coast which you can book at the booths outside the apartment. There was also kayak, paddleboards, jet ski and other things available to rent on the beach.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We didn't arrive until 0100am due to ferry delay but access was fine and the room light left on. Lesley and Mike go that extra mile and made our stay super relaxing and even take care of your laundry so you can spend more time out. Location was great and a few minutes walk from good shops and resturants. Would definately recommend to all.

    Our stay was delightful. The unit is super spacious and very family friendly with books, toys and games for all ages available from the large bookshelf. Great breakfast options to choose from. Hosts were super friendly and informative about the area. Great little getaway that we would highly recommend. Our daughter especially loved visiting the animals and collecting eggs from the chook house.

    Amazing views, great pool & basketball court! Perfect for family of 4. Idyllic spot for a great holiday - rooms and living area are really spacious and light. Ellejay & Shaun were excellent hosts and let us feed the sheep and goats as well as providing a lovely breakfast. Lots of things to do nearby with Abel Tasman half hour away and beaches 10mins away. You won’t regret staying here!
