Although we had our own 4x4, the staff came to lead us to the campsite. It was nicely arranged in a way we could all sleep comfortably. Dinner was great with plenty of food to eat. Shower was warm and toilet was clean.

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

Our stay at the desert camp was truly unforgettable! The camp was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality was outstanding, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was also great, both dinner and breakfast offered great variety and delicious flavors, perfect after a day of adventure. Stargazing at night was magical, with the clear desert sky filled with countless stars—a truly mesmerizing experience. During the day, the thrill of dune bashing was an absolute adrenaline rush, adding excitement to the tranquility of the desert. We were warmly welcomed and Saeed was a great host. The authentic camp was very well presented and the attention to detail was amazing (small decorations well blended into the whole picture). The additional drive through the dunes with sunset watching was very fun and Saeed was again very thoughtful (prepared some bedouin coffee on a wood fire for the sunset watching). We finished the day with a bedouin meal which they prepared on a fire right in front of us. We got to know the omani people as very welcoming and this experience confirmed it again. Thank you!

The villa was stunning — exactly as shown in the photos. It was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-designed, with a peaceful ambiance that made our stay truly relaxing. The private pool was a highlight, and the overall architecture and attention to detail gave the place a luxurious feel. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the host. The owner was incredibly kind, respectful, and accommodating throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His hospitality made a lasting impression and added a personal, welcoming touch to the entire visit.

Most authentic camp, most authentic experience and nicest people on earth. They do everything, always making sure you are okay. They Even saved us by dropping us in Muscat because we had no car. The night was great, the tents are very comfortable and its away from the cluster where you have all the other camps so you really feel alone in the desert . Thank you so much

Our stay at chalet was amazing we had a wonderful time. The grounds were impeccable and simply beautiful especially from the rooftop terrace the sunset was stunning, it was just so beautiful. We loved the spacious atmosphere of the chalet - the cozy and relaxing surroundings and private pool. It had everything to enjoy the chalet and was well located. The facilities and the pool was a plus to our stay. The owner and his staff are very kind and helpful , owner personally came to meet us and was very welcoming. Dunes safari was also arranged by the owner which was amazing to see the sunset in the desert. Will definitely recommend to others and looking forward to coming back with the family for longer stay.

Omg, what a stay it was ! Just perfect ! In front of the dunes ! You have village just behind so you can feel really like in the middle of the desert, goats and camel just crossing by, super refreshing swimming pool and very comfortable bed, very high standard of the rooms, we extended one more night because we couldn’t leave this place.

Located in the middle of Sharqiya Sands of Oman’s Empty Quarter, Arabian Oryx Camp offers a Bedouin experience in the desert.
