Very nice hosts, excellent pool, well equipped kitchen, very nice rooms - many details on European standard - a little paradise !

The house is superb. Everything you need, especially if you have little children.

Fig Shades is a great place to relax and a great base to visit Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi/Mibam. Mr. Santosh is a very kind and helpful host! He helped me arrange a trip to Wadi Mibam at a great price by Omani standards, which is great because the road to get there is difficult. There are also 3 restaurants nearby (10 min walk) as well as grocery shops (5-10 min walk). The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool is also nice. When you reach the big tree on the side of the road (the one that’s shown on Google street view), keep going a few meters towards the flyover and you’ll find a ‘Fig Shades’ signboard. If you can’t read Arabic, it’s the hotel next to 'Tiwi Omantel Telephone Exchange’ on Google Maps.

Cleanliness is excellent. The location is excellent, very close to the beach, within walking distance. The kitchen contains most of the main cooking utensils, as well as an oven and two refrigerators. The place is quiet for recreation. Nearby tourist places: Wadi Al-Arbaeen, Najm Identity Park, the beaches of Fence, Bama, Wadi Al-Shab and Wadi Tiwi, a 15-minute drive away.
