The tent was nice and comfortable with just what you need: a bed and light. The host prepared a snack with fruits, a variety of dates, traditional halwa, coffee and tea for when everyone arrived. I also got to see and pet the camels, they were extremely friendly. After that I watched the sunset from the sand dunes and had dinner with everyone else which was great with lots of vegan options. Later we watched the stars and learned about different constellations.

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

I totally recommend this accommodation — everything was exceptional. The facilities were amazing; we stayed in a room with a spectacular view for watching the sunrise. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was very clean. The staff was incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. I’m vegan, and when you let them know in advance, they offer amazing food alternatives — they were very considerate and accommodating. The pool was also fantastic — swimming there in the middle of the desert was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

We had normal car so left ours at the gas station and were picked up by Ahmed who drove us to the camp. We specifically booked this camp to avoid hige amount of people. This camp has few tents with yout own toilet and shower. We had a family tent with hugh bed for us and nice beds for our kids. The bed sheets were so nice that I didn't even wanted to get out of my bed and neither our children 🙃 Dinner and breakfast were simple but completely fine and really enough. We had a central tent where people gather and played games or just simply exchanged ideas and tips for travelling through Oman. The gentleman taking care of this camp is so very polite and helpful. We enjoyed a 4x4 ride through the dunes with a sunset view and the next morning our kids did sandboarding and short ride on a kamel. We believe that if you come to the desert you should just try it the simple way and not to book a luxurious room/ house but a simple tent.

Our experience at Zahr AlBun Villa was truly exceptional. The villa was beautifully authentic and perfectly located—peaceful yet close to everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly and always available to answer any questions or help with anything we needed. Communication was easy and fast, which made us feel very well taken care of. There was also a dedicated staff member on-site who brought us breakfast every morning and ensured everything in the villa was in perfect order. Tent and the bathroom were to our liking. Staff was very helpful with everything. It was clamping with affordable budget. Just remember to bring cash! It's in the desert so you have to drive back if you forgotten it.

The location was perfect as we couldn’t see anything in a distance. Despite being a tent, the facilities were like and just like a hotel room with a bed, coffee machine, bathroom and shower. Outside there was a swing and several places to lounge or have meals. The owner took us dune bashing which was so much fun !
