Our stay at this boutique hotel on Isla Colón was absolute perfection. Nestled between the jungle and the sea, right by the gorgeous Playa Bluff (not ideal for swimming but stunning nonetheless), the setting is pure paradise. With only 10 rooms, the hotel offers a peaceful, intimate vibe. Our spacious room featured a large, comfortable bed and a private balcony — waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and birds was unforgettable. The swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The service was excellent — the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The food was delicious, making it tempting to dine in often. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Bocas Town, so I’d recommend having a taxi contact handy. One of our highlights was renting ATVs to explore the island — an amazing way to see more of the area (including the incredible beach “La piscina”) All in all, a 10/10 experience. If you’re looking for tranquility, nature, and a bit of luxury, this place is a hidden gem.

We visited Panama for the second time, and once again, we absolutely loved it. While looking for a beautiful place to stay, we came across this little hidden gem 💍– and what a find it was! Arrival & Welcome We were picked up by a private boat and warmly welcomed. The boat ride took around 45 minutes and was truly enjoyable. Along the way, we received interesting information about the surrounding islands – and even spotted dolphins! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome cocktail before our first meal. Such a lovely touch!☀️😍 Room The room was spacious and very comfortable. We’ve seen a lot of bathrooms throughout Panama, and many of them lack a proper shower. But here – the shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and lovely hot water – such a treat. :) Breakfast Breakfast was amazing. The host really listened to our preferences, and I was thrilled to have my fried egg every morning – along with fresh fruit and avocado. A perfect start to the day! Lunch Lunch was absolutely delicious – we had shrimp with coconut rice and plantains. A real taste of local cuisine that felt authentic and lovingly prepared. Dinner The highlight of our meals was definitely pizza night on our last evening! It was such a fun, communal experience with homemade pizza in creative and tasty varieties. So cool – and honestly, unforgettable. Surroundings The water around the property was crystal clear – it felt like swimming in a private aquarium. We saw a small shark, a stingray, colorful fish, and more – all right in front of our room. I’m usually a bit hesitant in the water, but here, I felt completely safe and at ease. The trees, the light, the tranquility – I can’t even describe how beautiful it was. Truly one of my personal highlights – such peace and connection with nature. Activities The hosts’ children were incredibly kind and welcoming.

What's not to love at Eden Jungle? Magnificent views, excellent food prepared with much care, attention to detail - we went with teenagers and they set up a pool table, foosball table and more-, possibility to visit a Cacao farm, see how it's made and served in different dishes, kayak adventures and boat trips, and last but not least two great hosts that care for nature and the community where they now live. We truly enjoyed meeting Judith and Fabrice.

Tree houses are amazing. Self sufficient facility (energy and water) It is a chance to sleep with high comfort but fully open to nature. A chance for a free chocolate farm tour to better understand the process from tree nut to chocolate cake. This place is heaven. A little paradise, the view from the room spectacular. I was lucky enough to see dolphins in the bay and a sloth in the garden. The owners are very sweet and try everything to make the stay beautiful. I would come back anytime!

Sparkingly clean accommodation set up in a lush garden and with its own beautiful beach, this place was our must-visit stop on our second trip to Panamá. The rooms are newly built, they come with a cozy veranda, great breakfast (and good local cuisine from their restaurant). Easily accessible by local bus from Bocas Town. An amazing family-friendly stay.
