Gill and Harriette have been family to us! They are amazing - the villa is super nice and clean - we had access to a private beach - and we enjoyed our talks and discovering Raiatea through their suggestions and recommendations. They have two villas in the property - so it is quiet and reserved. Great comfort, their kitchen has everything you need. You can ask for suggestions on tours around the island and Tahaa. We loved our stay and we hope we are going to see them again in the near future. Thank you for the long chats discovering the polynesia culture. Raiatea will stay in our hearts!

Breakfast was very good. It was nice to have a range of homemade jams to choose from. The location is perfect for resting or being active - a variety of activities are available at the site. The hosts are excellent - very friendly and helpful.

The accommodation was modern and spacious, with a lovely communal area perfect for relaxing. The location was fantastic — peaceful and well-situated, with the bonus of a small private beach. We really appreciated the use of the kayaks and bikes, as well as the convenient laundry service. Most of all, Tepairu was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host. We’d love to come back again. We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

This pension was immaculate with incredible hosts. Views out over the sea were amazing, the pool was sparkling, and the snorkelling off the beach right out front was some of the best! The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and simple access to rental cars was really appreciated.

The house is spacious with two bathrooms and toilets., The view is amazing, big veranda with table and raised bed, outdoor shower is also a big bonus.,The kitchen have everything you need.The owners Cathy and Ralph are very helpful and nice people! Access with the car is a bit difficult, you have to stop and carry your bags for 20-30 m , but Ralf was there to help for the first and the last day.. Overall , very positive!

Bruno was absolutely fantastic. Such a happy and welcoming host. He drove me to the shop as soon as I arrived since I had to buy some food before it closed. The excursion he organised of the lagoon is the best one I have done in French Polynesia. The bed is also the best I had slept in during my month-long trip. The kitchen is big, clean and has all necessary instruments for cooking.

There really aren’t enough superlatives to describe our stay at Hotel Raiatea Lodge. Everyone on staff is delightful and goes out of their way to accommodate any requests. We stayed in room #8 in the main lodge. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and an incredible view from our balcony. The sunsets are spectacular every day. The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. We are vegetarian which the chef accommodated with delicious dishes every evening. The desserts are fantastic and the breakfast buffet is plentiful with freshly baked goods, delicious home made yogurts, cheeses, cold buts, fruit etc. The hotel offers a number of fabulous excursions through local operators which we took advantage of. They include being picked up and dropped off at the hotel which makes it all very convenient. The operators are paid directly in cash and there are several ATM’s in town so that wasn’t a problem. There is also great snorkeling right in front of the hotel. Kayaks are available to go to the Motu (15-20min.) which was a lot of fun. Car rental is also available right on site and charged directly to your room. Cars have a manual transmission and all in great shape. We rented one to drive around the island which was fun. Overall our stay at Hotel Raiatea Lodge exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return.

Really calm, ideal holiday home ín rural Raiatea, with a heartfelt welcome from Manu, our host. Happy to chitchat, gives good tour advices. Complete hut, full with all you need (coffee, cocoa, equipped kitchen), all tastefully decorated, amidst a fruit&flower garden. Manu is very knowledgeable ín horticulture and is enthusiastic about replanting authentic fruits& flowers. Sea just accross the perimeter road, 10m. Different kayaks available inhouse, also snorkel gear if wished. Paddle 15mins to opposite islet (motu) within the coral reef and snorkel from there! Utoroa airport 20mins, town is 25. Shop to the north 5km. Have a rental car, and circle the island - to the south see the belvedere point and the nearby gabbro rocks. Do not miss the botanical garden either. One of our best spent island holidays.
