Meghan and Julien are lovely hosts. Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The facilities are beautiful and the breakfast was great, for a good price. Very close to lovely hiking trails, which was what we were after.

When it comes to travel, the misconception that luxurious destinations only offer high-priced accommodations often prevails. However, our experience at "Haere Mai | Te Fare" in Moorea shattered this notion. Opting for their "Family Bungalow" with two double beds and one single bed, a private bathroom, and a delightful balcony, we found a perfect blend of comfort and affordability at $135/night, with an additional $15 per person for a scrumptious breakfast. 💼💤 It's worth noting that payments are accepted only in local currency, and cards, Euros, or Dollars are not accommodated. 💳🚫💶💵 What truly set the ambiance apart was the captivating presence of a grand rubber tree at the heart of the property, coupled with Polynesian decor that adorned the entire space. The owners, exceptionally warm and attentive, ensured all our needs were met with enthusiasm. 🌳🎨🛌 However, accessing the location requires a rental car or at least a scooter, as it's a 5-minute drive from the main road, conveniently close to both the ferry terminal and the airport. Additionally, the Sofitel Hotel nearby offers a tempting day pass for exploration. 🚗🏍️🏨 I wholeheartedly recommend "Haere Mai | Te Fare" to fellow travelers heading to Moorea. For a better deal, consider reaching out to them directly. Our delightful stay was a testament to the charm of local hospitality and the hidden gems waiting to be discovered. 🌺🌴✨

I like living here very much. The house is new, well-planned and practical. The kitchen facilities are relatively complete and the air-conditioning is sufficient. It is a good choice for a seaside vacation. The landlord is very enthusiastic and helpful.

    Absolutely stunning hotel in the one of the most gorgeous bay (one of two). Our room was on a upper floor with a beautiful view on the pool and the lagoon. The room has separate shower room and a toilet which was very handy, separate living room and bedroom and extra large deck. Large comfortable king bed, quite air conditioner. We were very happy with the room ! Good car rental (Fun bike) within 10 minute walk with a reasonable price for a car we hired. 2 food stores are on a opposite sides of the hotel within 30 min walk or 3 min drive.

    The staff were welcoming snd friendly. The facilities were fantastic and it was easy to get to from the boat snd slso to go to other places around the island. The pool was enjoyable and the room was clean and had a good layout and functionality. Will be going back for sure!

    Beautiful valley retreat with wonderful views of the surrounding peaks, a great pool for kids and lovely breakfasts. The hosts were incredibly helpful too.

    I think this is one of the places where I’ve felt more comfortable ever. Julien, Meghan and Nico were amazing and treated us like family. We felt so welcome. The place is wild and beautiful, in the heart of the island surrounded by the mountains not far from the main road and market. We also had breakfast there that they prepared for us and it was delicious and abundant. The atmosphere is incredible. We were so pleased that we would like to be back there!
