A truly incredible stay - beautiful bungalow with a lovely tropical garden, comfortable bed, AC, coffee etc, located in the nicest part of Moorea. The other reviews were also right about the host, Harold was extremely polite friendly and helpful, he gave me detailed recommendations on where to eat and activities, and even booked a transfer and table at Coco beach for me. Plus his shark/ray/turtle/dolphin tour was private and magical. He really deserves the great reviews, I only wish I could repeat the experience!

Everything is to like: the place is brand new, in very good taste, perfectly clean, the location is very nice (you can do some snorkeling just there, with a bit of luck you can even spot small cute octopuses 🥰🐙), the staff is very helpful and the Chef very talented, so you need not look any further for a good meal.

Beautiful property. Individual rooms (4 in total) with private bathrooms in each. Common areas include the separate kitchen, pool and outdoor seating area. AC worked great, they placed baguettes every morning with butter and jam, the pool was kept clean and the hosts were outstanding. A car is highly recommended to get around the island.

Highly recommend this cosy guesthouse, felt like a home away from home. Everything was great, very clean and well equipped. Nice meeting and chatting to the other guests there. Very close to the whale departure meeting point.

However, our experience at "Haere Mai | Te Fare" in Moorea shattered this notion. Opting for their "Family Bungalow" with two double beds and one single bed, a private bathroom, and a delightful balcony, we found a perfect blend of comfort and affordability at $135/night, with an additional $15 per person for a scrumptious breakfast. 💼💤 It's worth noting that payments are accepted only in local currency, and cards, Euros, or Dollars are not accommodated. 💳🚫💶💵 What truly set the ambiance apart was the captivating presence of a grand rubber tree at the heart of the property, coupled with Polynesian decor that adorned the entire space. The owners, exceptionally warm and attentive, ensured all our needs were met with enthusiasm. 🌳🎨🛌 However, accessing the location requires a rental car or at least a scooter, as it's a 5-minute drive from the main road, conveniently close to both the ferry terminal and the airport. Additionally, the Sofitel Hotel nearby offers a tempting day pass for exploration. 🚗🏍️🏨 I wholeheartedly recommend "Haere Mai | Te Fare" to fellow travelers heading to Moorea. We knew this hotel would be nice from the pictures we saw online but in reality is even better and nicer. The location has some amazing views and it is in a private neighbourhood. Our room was called Reva and it had a nice terrace with a minibar, microwave, fridge and even a blender which was so useful for our morning fresh pineapple juices. the hotel has an impressive garden, terrace and beach facing the lagoon. Also, it is very well maintained and has an exquisite decor. Eileen, the lady who runs the hotel is lovely and always looking after the guests. she sells very good quality products at the reception. We will come back ome day and we highly recommend this hotel :). thank you Eileen.
