We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vasacenter! From the very beginning, the hosts and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. When we faced an unexpected car breakdown and had to take our vehicle to the mechanic, they were incredibly helpful and supportive, offering assistance wherever possible. Not only did they help us with transportation options and advice, but they also made sure our stay continued smoothly without any additional stress. The entire team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure we had everything we needed. The service was top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. It was a pleasure to stay at such a well-run establishment with such lovely people. The accommodation itself was also wonderful—comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. We came to Salen for skiing in Klappen. The location was great for this. It is 5-10 min. away. And there were trails closeby for country skiing. There is also a place nearby for renting the skiing equipment which is way cheaper rather than renting them from the ski resort. The place is very cozy, the rooms are warm. Also Göran was a very welcoming and hospitable host. It was great talking to you and learning about the area. It was a pleasent stay. :)

I loved the cabin, and it worked well for us as a group of friends who stayed various nights during the week, me there all week. Well equipped, great deck, with nice views, away from the road, but well located to go hiking in the area and up in to Fulufjället National Park from both the Swedish and Norwegian sides. Very enjoyable, I hope to go back for more hiking to see autumn colours.
