Recently renovated and very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Nice house in a quite neighbourhood of older houses. Welcoming and nice host that was easy to communicate with. The washing machine had a dryer feature that was very handy after a extremely rainy day.

Hotel is within a sports complex. Designed to stay for sports events, probably teams and families. Our room was looking inside and had a beautiful view of closed stadium. We stopped in the hotel for a day. Ceiling was high since the building is planned along with the stadium and shopping center. Lobby area is good. Staff is good. The amenities in room were interesting. For example instead of wardrobes there was a different arrangement. Also parking was free. Ample room for bringing the car in front of reception for loading and drop off.

Scandic Backadal is located a 7-minute drive from Gothenburg city centre. It offers a rich and tasteful buffet breakfast and Nordic-style rooms a flat-screen cable TV and free Wi-Fi.

Staff are very nice and friendly and helpful. The hotel and the rooms are designed very practically. Laundry room is very useful.
