Great location by the lake. Friendly staff. Great options to book, like sauna, Jacuzzi. We also swam in the lake and it was great.

Very cozy environment. A lot of attention has been paid to the details. I arrived late at night (10:30 PM) and left in the morning, but I would have liked a longer experience. Breakfast had a very nice setup which is important in my opinion. The breakfast staff was young but took very good care of the setup and service which I consider a special value. If I could have had a chance to arrive earlier and check in the afternoon it would have definitely extended the positive experience of the stay and I could write more about the opportunity offered. It was a bit unclear how many washrooms the property has if they are shared washrooms, but I will look into it next time.

If you want to stay in Sätila, this is this only proper pension in town. The location is right in the centre of Sätila with the bus stop to the Gothenburg-Landvetter airport and Gothenburg city just outside the hotel. There is also a proper bar and restaurant next to the pension. Lake Lygnern and Sätila Church is within walking distance. The room and bathroom are spacious. Everything is clean and proper on arrival. Heating is very good even when the temperature at night falls to -4C. Breakfast comes in a basket and is very generous with bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt, butter, jam, orange juice, and much more. I would return to this hotel if I were to visit Sätila. Helena Liljedorff who runs the hotel is very responsive to enquiries.

Beautiful rustic cabin that had all the facilities you need. Very clean and comfortable inside with a lot of great modern touches like chromecast and fast wifi. I would say a perfect place to stay at if you: - want to get in touch with nature - want to get away from the hectic everyday life - maybe experiencing some some sort of creative block and need a change of scenery that's quiet and can help you move forward with your work
