This is not the first Scandic hotel that I’m staying in, but it is by far the best one. The shared areas are great, the design is exceptional, the staff are very friendly and the rooms have a familiar design, but are just newer and better in every aspect. The bathroom is big and the temperature in the room is very comfortable. The views are also great – you can see the sunset and the sunrise directly from your panoramic windows.

Livin Station Hotel is situated right by Örebro Central Station. Örebro University Hospital is 800 metres from the property. Each room has a flat-screen TV.

A small hotel with comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, and really exceptional service from the staff. (Note, however, that during early afternoon and overnight there is no staff member on site; they can be reached by phone, though.) Hanna especially was super helpful regarding our early arrival, as well as answering questions about Örebro and giving us an excellent restaurant recommendation: Gamla Örebro cafe in the Wadköping open air museum. Although it is next to the train station the double windows keep out all train noise so we slept very well. We also took advantage of the bar offerings in the late afternoon, and enjoyed sitting outside with our drinks at the picnic tables outside the hotel. We had a rental car during our stay and were able to park in one of the hotel’s parking spots in front of the building for a reasonable charge per day. (If you do not have a car, there are plenty of taxis available at the train station and numerous city buses stopping just south of the station.) We highly recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again.

We had such a truly wonderful time here. The cottage was nestled in greenery, and its fairytale-like decor immediately put us in a peaceful, cozy mood. A very well equipped stand-alone house that has pretty much everything one may need for a chill vacation. An ample terrace with a lovely view, barbecue facilities, a hot tub, an equipped and supplied kitchen, a cosy, fresh and very pleasant house interior. I would also point out just how attentive, hospitable and helpful the hosts of the property are. We felt safe, comfortable and really enjoyed our time at Solgläntan. Recommended.

Brilliant! I had a great stay at Scandic Grand Hotel in Örebro! The staff was excellent - patiently explained everything, gladly helped, and always welcomed me with a smile! The breakfast was amazing!!! So much to chose from! The location is close to the center and most importantly for me - very quiet. Scandic is my favourite chain of hotels!
