PP Land is a wonderful, secluded resort on the east side of the island. The sunrises are incredible and the beach right in front of our bungalow was clean and a beautiful place to swim. The staff were incredibly helpful with whatever you needed, including laundry, bike rental and the food requirements in the restaurant. Paul and pearl also own a cafe called Magic cafe where you can get freshly baked croissants and cake. The resident dogs are lovely too! Thanks again for the fantastic stay over our 1 year wedding anniversary! We absolutely loved it!

Fabulous stay - the executive suite room was well worth the extra - the view was stunning whilst sitting in bed. Resteraunt served great food, Amy was very helpful and organised onward travel back to phuket (Ferry tickets and Taxi pickup from Ranong Pier). The Resort has a Tuk-Tuk to bring you and your backpacks/suitcases from the ferry terminal and back again at the end of the stay. Ask as soon as you are getting off the ferry - don't walk to the end of the pier as the tuk-tuk is usually waiting ON the pier for boats - just call ahead to Amy and be sure she knows you are arriving on the ferry and it will be there for you. The location is great - about five minutes from the Hippie Bar - which is probably the greatest bar on Earth - literally a warren of driftwood held together with (hemp) ropes (no plastic here). Anyway - Koh Phayam is like Thailand was twenty five years ago - a million miles away from party-town Phuket and lots of lovely uncrowded beaches. Marina Resort is one of the nicest frendliest places - book a stay - you won't be disappointed! :-)

We came to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and it was really pleasure to stay at this resort. We loved the environment of the resort, the rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable and feel homey. The stuff was just amazing! They were so nice and kind, always with a smile on their face and helped us with everything :) even put flowers and beautiful handmade birthday card and a gift from them! And the breakfast was also very good of course, as we saw before at others reviews:)

Barefoot Project exceeded our expectations. The hotel is very beautiful and the rooms are decorated with good taste. Our room was spacious and clean. Everything is super clean. The location is perfect on the beautiful beach with lots of nature around. Staff was very friendly.

The team at Chomjan really went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. They catered to food requests, organised transport and days out, and were there when ever we needed help or advice. I loved that they loaned us little coolers to take beers to the beach, and the Thai food was authentic (coming from a longtime Thailand resident). We really enjoyed out stay. :-)

I really loved my stay here, it's a quiet place in the center of Ko Phayam, surrounded by the forest. The family who run the bungalows were very kind and they're always available should you need anything. The bungalow was simple and just perfect for relaxing. The bed was super spacious for one person. My favorite detail was the hammock on the terrace. There were bug screens on all doors and windows and an extra mosquito net around the bed, which I really appreciated. I was comfortable in the room with the fan for a breeze, didn't even need the fan during the night. The family also runs a restaurant just in front of the bungalows, the food was good (I especially liked the Burmese tea leaf salad), the prices were very affordable, and they have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. Wifi is available at the restaurant. You can also rent a scooter directly from them. I thought that location was perfect, there're plenty of other restaurants in the immediate vicinity if you're staying for a while (there's a place that does mango sticky rice with vegan ice cream right across the road that I still daydream about). There are a couple of small shops a couple of minutes on foot from the bungalows. Ko Phayam is fully walkable, it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the bungalow from the port and maybe 10 minutes to the beach. Can't wait to be back.
