Family hotels and homes in Culpeper

We had a wonderful vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We stayed in a room in the main house, which was quaint. There was a fireplace instead of a TV, which made for a quiet evening. Unfortunately, it was cloudy when we stayed, but the starry sky must have been beautiful. (We were fine, but perhaps some of you may be concerned about the water pressure in the showers.) During the day it was clear so we were able to explore the trails. It was beautiful as well. The food was very good and we were very satisfied. We would like to visit again in another season.

It was beautiful, super clean, and very well-equipped. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail—I've never seen knives sharpened so well in a rental apartment before! The washer and dryer were a fantastic addition, making my stay even more convenient. I would definitely recommend it and would be happy to stay here again.

What not to like, the hosts Nance and Thom are so welcoming into their lovely home. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. There are lots of nice restaurants in the vicinity and for breakfast you can stay in as they prepare a fabulous breakfast with fruit (if in season) from their own back yard (which is huge btw). If you are going to Shenandoah and this place is avaible look no further! A place with a heart Ps.if you have the chance to be there at 5:30 you can enjoy a nice drink at their bar!
