The location was perfect. Our room with the balcony and stained glass window was wonderful. The tea making facilities were just what we needed and the champagne on arrival was the icing on the cake, especially as it was our wedding anniversary.

Hotel staff was personable and informative. King room with sofa was spacious. The bed was comfortable with an assortment of pillows. The heating unit and refrigerator quietly kicked on unlike some hotel units. Breakfast was well stocked with ample selection.

The room displayed items about the planning of the Astoria bridge build which was very interesting. Air con and the electric fireplace is a lovely touch.
