I was shocked how nice this "Resort" was. Not a normal Holiday Inn Express this is a Resort. Very nice, quiet and clean resort. Very comfortable beds. Very convenient to fun: Casino, restaurant on site or nearby restaurants, walking into downtown Deadwood, close to outdoor theatre for movies/music, and convenient drive to Spearfish Canyon, Mt Rushmore, etc.

Nyla, our host at the Inn, was absolutely wonderful. Although we were late due to a work call, she graciously accommodated our late check-in request and even upgraded us to another empty room with better amenities. Her delicious breakfasts and the Inn's Victorian-style charm made our stay truly exceptional. Inn's proximity to downtown also made it a convenient and enjoyable short walk to explore the Deadwood area. We were not only impressed by the house and its history but also by Nyla's exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended for a delightful and accommodating experience!

The Historic Bullock Hotel is a must-stay location in Deadwood, offering guests a truly unique and high-quality stay. This is a very old building but in the best way - it has been sympathetically modernised and refurbished over the years to offer a leading stay in terms of comfort, cleanliness and intrigue due to its history. The staff from check in to departure ensured we had a perfect stay, and offered us a useful heads-up regarding the snow forecast that turned out to be a lifesaver!
