When we arrived Dup ensured that Edward who manages the houses met us promptly and ensured that all our needs were met. The housekeeper was also very helpful when we required additional towels. The kitchen had everything we required and it was a bonus to be given wood for a braai. It was rather delightful to see the ostriches and nyala outside our doorstep in the evenings and mornings. We also enjoyed the view from the water hole and the lookout point as we managed to see animals in the middle of the day.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was really well designed with a focus on self made hand crafted furniture of the host. The pool is heated and sun chairs are also provided. There were many pretty detail’s like a birds pond you could watch from the Veranda and weaver nests directly in front of the house. Apart from the lodge our host organised game drives on her own and with her colleague Johannes who are both trained field guides. We had great sightings on the drives. Just to name a few… we saw lions twice, buffalo 3 times, white Rhino and Elephants. We also saw many Antelopes, birds and some small reptiles like tortoises and lizards. In the end our Host Renate organised a Ultralight plane Safari on wich we saw a fresh giraffe kill antelopes and cheetahs ! All in all we can only recommend to stay at Bushveldmagic. Thank you Renate for creating this magnificent place. 😁😁👍

We enjoyed every moment. Lovely boutique African bush lodge, easy going vibe, good facilities, friendly staff offering consistent service and excellent guides on the game drives. We did 6 game drives and all meals were included on a 3 night stay which was fabulous and great value The restaurant was very flexible and accommodated my dietary needs. The bar area was inviting and drink prices were very reasonable. The Lodge is spread out over well kept grounds, you feel very peaceful as it's not overcrowded even when fully occupied. The pool area is abundant in bird life and buck and zebra etc roam the grounds. Would definitely recommend and come back!

The property was beautiful and big, and was great value for money! We all had a great time and saw some giraffe just outside the fence in the morning. The hosts were lovely and everything was clean and worked well.

From picking up from the airport, arranging game drives, bush walks, hiking day out, coddling baby lions at Misty Monkeys, shopping at local shops, trying cinnamon pancakes with sweet coffee with condense milk! to bespoke food at the lodge's restaurant and glass of tasteful red wine by the fire under starry night sky was more then we could wish for our trip! Our tent was spacious, comfortable, with private toilet, shower and bathtub! There was kettle, tea and coffee as well as water and fresh milk every day. We had a table and chairs on our little terrace where we could enjoy our morning coffee. The heated blanket saved us from cooler nights what made our stay even more comfy. The facility has great potential being just 40min from Pretoria. Restaurant with amazing food, bar and fire pit for cooler evenings and cosy chats with glass of good South African wine! We saw different animals and birds every day around the Lodge and in the night could hear hyenas and lions roar.

Everything, such an amazing experience. Already on the way to the lodge we saw zebras and then from the small reception hut we saw more animals, e.g. giraffes in the distance, amazing! Our house was lovely and had everything you needed. Also Audrey was the best and helped us with everything we needed and always went the extra mile
