The hotel was just wonderful. We were given a comfortable ground floor room with lots of space and a wonderful view of Neuschwanstein (so close!). It was so easy to hike up to the castle from our hotel. There was also lots of safe space for our kids to play right outside the room so it was perfect for us. There were restaurants within a short walk from the hotel and the included breakfast was also very good. Most of all, we had such a good experience with the very kind and helpful staff. When our daughter left her beloved teddy bear on the bus and we couldn't find any way to get it back, they went out of their way to retrieve it from the bus company office.

This hotel is located a few minutes' walk from Lake Forggensee, 8 km from Füssen town centre. It offers country-style rooms and a terrace with a panoramic view of the Allgäu Alps and the royal castles. Excellent and huge selection at breakfast, everything is fresh and delicious. The restaurant has an excellent chef and the food is very delicious. The pizza and pasta day is a good idea, the pizza is very good as if we were eating it in Italy.Very helpful, kind and always smiling staff, the waiters are excellent and quick to serve. Awake each morning to stunning views of the mountains. There is furthermore an extensive garden and your children can be kept entertained at the play area. Beautiful location with very cozy modern rooms with all the facilities, good coffee machine, fridge and cooking facilities. Lovely owners too! Very quiet and excellent location if you want to hike, hike or rock climb. I particularly like to mention that it’s really nice to see that this hotel is making a nice attempt to be more eco friendly and encouraging guests to do so too. Will definitely try to stay here longer next time!
