I stayed here alone this summer, hoping to unwind, recharge, and enjoy a bit of peace by the lake — and this hotel exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a dream. The setting is unreal: a crystal-clear alpine lake nestled among towering green mountains, with summer sunshine sparkling on the water and wildflowers blooming everywhere. The view from my room — especially from the balcony — was absolutely breathtaking. I often just sat there in silence, taking it all in. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort and charm. It felt cozy and welcoming, but still elegant. Traveling alone can sometimes feel awkward, but here I felt completely at ease. The staff were genuinely kind — always helpful, never intrusive — and made me feel like more than just a guest. Every morning started with a peaceful breakfast overlooking the lake, and every evening ended with a sunset that looked like something from a painting. I spent my days swimming, walking along the shore, hiking nearby trails, and simply enjoying the stillness. This place gave me exactly what I needed: space to breathe, think, and just be. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you — the kind that changes you a little. If you're considering a solo trip and need beauty, serenity, and a true escape — look no further. Would recommend. Will return.

The spacious suites are all air-conditioned and individually furnished with modern artworks. They are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a coffee machine and kettle, and a private bathroom. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. Some suites feature a kitchen. The room is lovely. Facilities were in good working order. Staff was very helpful and kind. I requested an iron and Hanna brought it all the way to my room, thank you so much! The lady in the reception during daytime always greeted me with a smile on her face, thank you for making my stay very comfortable!

Hotel Reif - Urdlwirt enjoys a quiet location 1 km from the A2 motorway and 12 km from the centre of Graz. It includes a traditional Styrian restaurant and offers free Wi-Fi and free use of its sauna, steam bath, and fitness centre. Lovely hotel in a quiet location yet easily accessible from the A2 motorway. Staff were very friendly and dinner in the restaurant was delicious!

Friendly staff, great breakfast and accommodations. The terrace was absolutely lovely. Forgot to try out the sauna but it's nice it was available. Great location too. Walking distance to a lot of cool places. 1000% recommend this place.

Besides the over 200 pieces of contemporary art, Augarten Art Hotel, a Member of Design Hotels also offers a 24-hour leisure zone with a sauna, a steam bath, a fitness room and an indoor pool. staff was welcoming and helpful. room was clean, comfortable and well-thought-out. the pool and gym are open 27/7 - a definite plus! the location is an easy walk from the old center. the art everywhere made public spaces and our room very interesting, and the humor all over was a wonderful!

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a balcony. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Great location within walking distance of the city center. There’s a SPAR supermarket just 2 minutes away, which was very convenient. The host was extremely kind and responsive—on our second day one of the air conditioners stopped working, and they replaced it with a brand new one right away. The property also has a small playground for kids, plus darts and air hockey, which the children really enjoyed. A washing machine and dryer are available free of charge, which was a big plus. Overall, a wonderful stay—I’ll definitely come back on my next visit!

The property is non-smoking and is set 38 km from Admont Abbey. Amazing location in a nice and peaceful town. Great restaurant and very polite staff. It is near the highway which is ideal when you travel.
